Compile your Python code to a native binary with Nuitka, then apply real binary protection. Code virtualization, string encryption, and anti-analysis defenses.
PyArmor operates at the Python layer. Its compatibility and resistance vary by version, and it should not be presented as native code virtualization.
PyInstaller bundles Python bytecode and a runtime. Public extraction tools can often recover that bytecode; rewriting only the outer bootloader does not change the archive format.
Nuitka compiles Python through C to native code. That removes the ordinary .pyc workflow, but the resulting machine code and metadata remain available for native analysis.
Use Nuitka to produce a native Windows executable, test that baseline, then run ChaosProtector on that PE. Compatible functions and strings can receive the selected protections; unsupported regions remain native. A PyInstaller archive is different: protecting its outer bootloader does not encrypt or virtualize the bundled Python bytecode.
Use Nuitka --standalone or --onefile to compile your Python application to a native Windows executable. This is the input.
Open the GUI or use the CLI. Load the compiled .exe, select functions to protect, and choose your protection level.
Run application and AV regressions on the protected output, then Authenticode-sign the final executable.
Selected compatible native functions emitted by Nuitka can be translated into ChaosProtector VM bytecode. Unsupported functions are reported and kept native.
Supported referenced strings can be encrypted in the native image. This can reduce casual string recovery but is not a safe place for API keys or credentials.
Base checks detect several common debugger states at startup; Pro adds advanced anti-dump and instrumentation checks. Determined local analysis remains possible.
Adds a jump-chain stress pattern intended to hinder auto-analysis in older IDA versions. This is tool/version dependent.
Checks configured code regions and image invariants at runtime. It detects covered changes but cannot make a client-side authorization check authoritative.
Supported imports are reduced to a runtime-resolved bootstrap. Required bootstrap imports and calls made at runtime remain observable.
Binary rewriting and anti-analysis features can trigger heuristic detections. Sign the final executable and test each release with the AV products your customers use.
